Web Lab – Google Exhibit In The London Science Museum

Here’s a great one for the weekend! Google’s Chrome Web Lab is a collection of Chrome Experiments meant to show off the “magic” of the web by being the web-based half of an exhibit at the London Science Museum.

The exhibit just opened this week and runs until next Summer. If you’re near London you have plenty of time to check it out at the museum. The rest of us can still have lots of fun with the internet side of Web Lab though.

You can play instruments in the museum over the internet, submit your photo to be drawn in sand by a robot, take snapshots with cameras placed around the world, see where in the world images on the internet are stored and more. If that wasn’t enough, you can spy on museum visitors who are also participating when the museum is open. Definitely enough to keep you busy for a while :)

Web Lab is a Google Chrome Experiment, so if you don’t have Chrome you can’t play along. “This site is best experienced in Chrome” means you’re out of luck if you’re not using Chrome.

Go spend a little time playing with Web Lab:
