The Internet is a strange place, there’s no doubt about that, and this little website, Staggering Beauty, is testament to that statement.
Staggering Beauty contains a single, small creature, which appears to be a hommage to the inflatable sky dancer advertising men, will move in the direction of your mouse… if you shake your mouse back and forth too rapidly, you will be greeted by with what can only be described as a noisy, seizure inducing trip.
The creature’s animation is powered by the popular javascript vector graphic library Paper.js. Its audio though uses Flash, presumably for consistant cross browser support.

That thing made me go colourblind, but at least I learnt about Paper.js through this post!
Their other demos look really amazing… and less seizure-inducing.
Make sure you don’t have your headphones in too. Nearly gave me a heart attack!
