CreativeJS.com is growing so we’re looking for some new faces to join our friendly team of authors. Can you contribute to our growing collection of industry news, tutorials and resources?
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Writing experience (even if it’s just your own blog), good English, and even a bit of writing style
- Reasonable understanding of JavaScript and a willingness/interest to learn more
- Willingness to work closely with the team to identify good topics and check posts from other team members
- Ability to post once every two weeks
So, what sort of content do we want?
We like a variety of stuff – links to great demos, industry news, author commentary/opinions on news or techniques, and tutorials of all lengths. Ideally we want people who can contribute posts of all those types, but if you’re not confident enough to write your own tutorials, or opinion pieces, we’d still like to hear from you.
What’s in it for you
Writing for CreativeJS.com can offer you increased exposure in the community and access to some of the coolest minds working in JavaScript today. You may have noticed that there are no ads on the site and we want to keep it that way. So there’s no money for us, but we don’t mind, we’d rather stay classy. There’s a good chance that writing for us will improve your writing chops and make it even easier for you to keep current on industry news. That can’t be all that bad.
Interested?
Great! We’d love to hear from you. Here’s what to do :
- Tell us a bit about yourself
A little more than a professional bio would be appreciated here. Tell us about your JavaScript experience, your current work interests and maybe even a bit about what you do for fun. - Links to 2 or 3 articles you’ve written
JavaScript or other Development related topics would be best, but we’d like to get an idea of your writing ability and style.
Fill out this handy google form and we’ll get back to you within a week or so (unless we get completely inundated that is!).
