Muscular Hydrostats, a fun interactive squid type creature, is one of the latest demos by creative coder Justin Windle ~ showing off some very polished inverse kinematics.
Muscular Hydrostats has been built using Justin’s own demo boilerplate, Sketch.js – which provides helper methods for interaction, canvas management, the animation loop… well, almost everything and is a powerful example of what can be done using simplistic techniques and technologies in an artistic way.
Unsurprisingly dat.GUI provides that little ui magic to complete the experience.
